I’m Melissa, a Latina woman raised in Puerto Rico by my grandmother. At an early age, I discovered that fitness is about both mental and physical strength. After an injury sparked my passion for wellness, I noticed a lack of cultural representation in fitness apparel. This led me to found Mente y Cuerpo (“Mind and Body”), a women’s and men’s workout apparel line celebrating Latin heritage and inclusivity.
